A collection of curated events and activities in the Rhone Valley Vineyard this summer

Over nearly 250 kilometers from north to south, the Rhône crisscrosses our majestic valley, covering 30 wine appellations. The result is a myriad of wine tourism stopovers, each unique in its own way. Experiences to be had with winegrowers who always know how to give us a warm... and generous welcome!

So, why not make a few well-deserved stops along the way to your vacation destination? Among the many stops on offer in this unrivalled wine-growing region, all we have to do is choose the ones that suit us best. Depending on our desires, we opt for experiences that allow us to share real moments with passionate winemakers. All aboard for a whole collection of generous stopovers to discover in the vineyards of the Rhône Valley!

Les escales généreuses des vignobles de la Vallée du Rhône

Cultural stopover: discovering winegrowing know-how

The stones and lands of the Rhône Valley meet, intermingle and sublimate to tell the most curious visitors about a history that goes back more than 2000 years. Through vineyards and great monuments, we discover places and landscapes that, like the grape varieties, shape the profile of the wines we taste. From Gallo-Roman underground passages to the Palais des Papes, via cellars revisited as exhibition spaces, every visit is a return to culture! Winegrowers and lovers of the Rhône Valley tell us the stories that have made our region what it is today, while sharing the secrets of the wine and vine trades.

Picturesque stopover: guaranteed immersion in the heart of the vineyard

What if, for this new stopover, we took a step back in time to discover a 360° panorama of the Rhône and the rows of vines that line it as far as the eye can see? By bike, on foot or even on horseback, in slow mode, take a deep breath of fresh air and explore this multi-faceted vineyard. You'll marvel at the light of dawn as it gradually illuminates the Hermitage hillside. Or take a moment to admire the sunset over the Dentelles de Montmirail. During the day, you can also stroll through the narrow streets of the Ardèche villages where the Rhône tributary flows quietly by. A gentle stopover to discover picturesque spots, while enjoying a chilled wine tasting in an ancient cellar.

Festive stopover: a celebration in the heart of the Rhone vineyards

Let's follow the musical notes escaping from the vines, listen to the laughter rising not far from an estate and put down our luggage for a stopover rich in emotion! Make way for sharing and good humor as you meet the winegrowers who open their doors for an evening, for a concert in the vineyards or an open-air cinema. You can also choose to relax after a day on the road, with a winegrower's aperitif overlooking the sunset. It's the perfect way to fill up on positive energy in simple, authentic moments.

Gourmet stopover: an assortment of local flavors

By now, it's well understood that the vineyards of the Rhone Valley are not only beautiful... but also delicious! With so much to explore, your appetite is whetted, and a gourmet stopover seems only too welcome. Whether it's dinner in the heart of the vineyards or lunch in a picturesque village concocted with local produce, this mouth-watering break is sure to whet the taste buds. For the more epicurean among us, let's even opt for a stroll through the vineyards before stopping to taste estate wines paired with local cheeses.

Once we've taken in the sights and feasted on local delicacies, all that's left to do is let the Rhône guide us... to our next stop.
