Millévin in Avignon: the Côtes du Rhône wine festival with music
On Thursday, November 20th, 2025, Avignon will become the capital of young wine. Starting at 6 p.m., the city will come alive for Millévin, an unmissable event for discovering the new Côtes du Rhône vintage. On the program: tastings, musical entertainment, a parade of wine brotherhoods, and a warm atmosphere that fills the streets and restaurants.
Meet at Square Agricol Perdiguier, where the winemakers will set up for the evening. For €6, you get a glass, five tasting tokens, and even a breathalyzer to get home safely. Partner restaurants offer a glass of Côtes du Rhône with every menu purchased, combining culinary pleasure with conviviality. There is also a musical program to accompany the tastings.
What we like: the opportunity to taste several primeur wines in one place, in an atmosphere that will warm us up despite the autumn weather!

La Balade du Primeur in the Gard: a convivial weekend on the right bank of the Rhône
On November 22nd and 23rd, 2025, we will be meeting the winegrowers of the Gard Rhodanien. La Balade du Primeur invites you to discover no fewer than 21 cellars, estates, and châteaux over these two days! Each one shows its imagination and offers original activities for tasting the new wines in a warm atmosphere. The kickoff is on Thursday, November 20th, in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, with a tasting and music evening starting at 6:30 p.m. at Place Mallet.
Over the weekend, visitors can explore the wine routes, meet the producers, and sample local specialties. Each estate has surprises in store: workshops, guided tours, food and wine pairings... It's a great opportunity to discover the diversity of AOC Côtes du Rhône primeurs and vintage wines.
What we love: the variety of activities offered by each estate and cellar, which can be enjoyed with friends or family.

Head to Ventoux and Luberon to celebrate the new vintage
To venture a little further afield while remaining firmly rooted in the vineyards of the Rhône Valley, head to southern Vaucluse: the Ventoux and Luberon regions also offer wonderful opportunities to taste the new wine in a traditional setting, with entertainment and a lively atmosphere.
In Beaumont-du-Ventoux, the wine cellar opens its doors at 6 p.m. for a convivial evening: tasting of the new vintage, accompanied by roasted chestnuts. A treat for the taste buds at the foot of the majestic Mont Ventoux, in a warm and friendly atmosphere!
Near Apt, Cave Sylla also offers a whole day dedicated to their red and white primeur wines: the “Prem's”! A fruity and light wine to discover from 11:30 a.m., accompanied by regional cheeses and charcuterie. In the evening, the dance floor opens to celebrate the new vintage with music, accompanied by a meal on site if desired. Two places, two atmospheres, but the same passion for new wine and sharing!
