1. Caving at the Aven d’Orgnac
Imagine an underground cathedral, sculpted by nature millions of years ago. Welcome to the Aven d’Orgnac, one of the most beautiful caves in France, designated a Grand Site de France. The tour begins with a dizzying 121-meter descent, where you’ll discover immense chambers, giant stalactites, and mineral draperies with golden hues. The passionate guides recount the site’s geological history with a touch of humor, making the experience accessible to everyone, from children to seasoned explorers.
Just a short walk from the cave, the Cité de la Préhistoire completes the immersive experience. Here, you travel back in time through collections of tools, recreations of daily life scenes, and workshops where you can learn how to start a fire or chip flint. A true journey through time, ideal for understanding how our ancestors lived in harmony with this land.
What we love: The wine tastings of Néovinum wines from the AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Saint-Andéol and AOC Côtes du Vivarais, held 50 meters underground.

2. Wine Tasting at Château Rochecolombe
Nestled in the heart of the vineyards, Château Rochecolombe is a place steeped in history. Since the mid-20th century, the Terrasse family has been cultivating the vineyards using organic farming methods, with scrupulous respect for the terroir. The tour of the estate begins with a stroll through the vineyards, followed by a visit to the 14th-century vaulted cellars, where the wines rest in a mysterious atmosphere.
The tasting that follows is a true moment of sharing: you’ll sample their AOC Côtes du Rhône vintages in three varieties, savoring the subtleties of the local wines. Roland Terrasse, the winemaker, loves to tell the story behind each bottle, weaving together family anecdotes and winemaking secrets.

3. Dine at La Table de Cousignac
At Domaine Notre Dame de Cousignac, cooking is a family affair rooted in the local terroir. La Table de Cousignac offers organic, farm-to-table cuisine, where seasonal ingredients and the estate’s wines pair perfectly. The chef, who is also a winemaker, creates simple, flavorful dishes, such as forgotten garden vegetables, local meats, and desserts made with fruit from the orchard.
The experience doesn’t end at the table: you can also participate in nature-based sophrology or field yoga workshops amidst the vineyards. A place where you feel right at home and that exudes warmth and hospitality.
The little extra: Want to extend the experience? The estate also offers guest rooms and a cottage so you can treat yourself to a little extra time in this authentic setting.
