Loire: visit a Wine Estate

Loire

Along with the Rhône, the Loire is one of the smallest departments in the Rhône Valley in terms of vineyard area. But it still had plenty to offer the visitor! Estates making Condrieu and Côte Rôtie appellation wines nestle here within the unspoilt Pilat Natural Regional Park, boasting a wealth of heritage architecture and history with countless hidden treasures to explore.  Then there’s Château-Grillet, dating back to the 18th century and one of the Rhône Valley’s oldest appellations, whose vineyards are considered to be a historic monument in themselves. For white-wine enthusiasts especially, these are a must-visit, with exceptional wines well worth exploring and tasting.
