Domaine des Escaravailles
The Domaine des Escaravailles was founded in 1953 and owes its name to the Occitan word for beetles - «escaravay» or «scarabée». This nickname was given by the village inhabitants to the Black Penitents of Avignon, who owned it at the time (1624).
