Summer 2026 is all about music in the Rhône Valley vineyards
June 21st sets the tone in the Rhône Valley vineyards. With the Fête de la Musique, the first notes ring out, heralding the start of a summer we want to experience to the fullest. In the Rhône Valley, wineries capitalize on this energy to host musical evenings, before giving way to a whole season filled with concerts, open-air dance parties, and outdoor aperitifs. We settle in, we taste, we listen… and we savor the summer that is about to begin.

Aperitifs, picnics, and wine bars: let's turn up the volume!
There's something special about these summer evenings when music accompanies the last rays of sunshine. In the vineyards of the Rhône Valley, this format has become a must: aperitifs in the vines where you can simply take your time.
In Crestet, Le Chêne Bleu welcomes us every Wednesday during the summer for their Apéros Bleus: a tasting of their flagship wines in a musical atmosphere, accompanied by snacks. The added bonus? A sunset over the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains, enhancing this suspended moment in the heart of the vineyards.
Near Oppède, the Domaine de La Garelle immerses us in an even more captivating atmosphere. Once a week, we gather at their estate to enjoy a concert by a different artist each time: electro night, rock band, piano recital… There's something for everyone! The estate provides a warm welcome and a musical atmosphere while you bring your own picnic to enjoy with the music.

And of course, we mustn't forget the legendary Côtes du Rhône wine bar, which sets up shop in the courtyard of the Maison des Vins in Avignon during the festival. From Friday, July 3rd to Saturday, July 25th, starting at 7 pm, winemakers and wineries will introduce us to their finest selections of Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages wines. Each evening, an artist will accompany these tasting moments, filling the capital of the Côtes du Rhône with their music. A true cultural and gourmet immersion combining theater, music, and wine tasting!
What we love: the varied atmospheres, from chill to festive, in an authentic setting that allows us to experience the vineyards in a whole new way.
Concerts and musical evenings: open-air stages in the vineyards
As the weeks go by, the atmosphere evolves, and estates become true meeting places for music lovers. Concerts in the vineyards then become the highlight of the season.
We start, of course, with the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival), celebrated in the Ardèche region at the Domaine Les Amoureuses. On Saturday, June 20th, join us for a DJ set accompanied by a live saxophonist. An original performance to immerse us in the musical fervor of this summer!
The Cellier des Chartreux, in the Gard region, is not to be outdone with its "Les Chats partent en live" (Cats Go Live) evening, organized in front of the cooperative winery on Friday, July 3rd. An event that brings back the music of the 80s. The perfect recipe for a convivial evening enjoying their flagship wines and food from local food trucks, all while being swept away by a touch of nostalgia.

In addition to these one-off events, of which there are so many during the summer months in the Rhône Valley, we also mark our calendars with the recurring musical events hosted by other wineries.
Throughout the summer, Gigondas LaCave organizes live music to get locals and tourists grooving to the sounds of their DJs. The evening of August 5th is even dedicated to Beatles covers! All we have to do is brush up on our classics and let ourselves be carried away by the familiar melodies, which will resonate all the way to the vineyards at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
We also gather at Château La Borie to enjoy a diverse range of concerts: classical music, pop-rock, and blues. The estate brings in its best artists to offer us a musical evening that blends perfectly with the tranquility of the Drôme Provençale. A wine bar allows us to discover their Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Suze-la-Rousse AOC wines, in harmony with the live music.

In the vineyards of the Rhône Valley, summer follows a very particular rhythm. Evenings begin gently, with a wine tasting shared among friends or family, and continue with music, seemingly without stopping.
From an aperitif among the vines to a concert, from a tranquil atmosphere to a more lively evening, the feeling remains the same: fully enjoying the present moment. What ultimately changes is the perspective on the vineyard. It's no longer just a place to visit; it's an experience, an listening session, a sharing of simple and generous moments.
All that's left is to browse the calendar… and let ourselves be carried away by the rhythm of the vines!
