Saturday, May 23rd: Cultural and a festive atmosphere in the heart of the city
We’ll start the weekend off gently with a dive into the world of Costières de l’Art. Once again this year, the appellation’s wineries and some of Nîmes’ iconic landmarks are hosting exhibitions by international artists. A wonderful opportunity to discover how art and wine pair perfectly. Stroll among the artworks, chat with the artists, and take the chance to taste the wines from the host winery.
In the evening, head to the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle for the Bodega des Costières de Nîmes. Open from May 21st to 24th during the Ferias de Nîmes, this venue offers a friendly atmosphere with DJ sets, local tapas (Nîmes pâtés, charcuterie platters, cheeses…), and a wine bar featuring 17 vintages from the Costières de Nîmes AOC. The perfect way to extend your day in festive style!
Good to know: You can book a VIP package for the Bodega in advance, which includes a table and a dedicated server!

Sunday, May 24th: Hike in the heart of the Camargue
To ease back into the day after last night’s festivities, lace up your sneakers for a hike starting at the Gallician Marina. Here, you’ll walk among irrigation canals, orchards, and vineyards, with the classic Camargue landscapes as your backdrop. The trail is marked, and an audio guide (available via the Rando Gard app) lets you learn more about the terroir and wines of the Costières de Nîmes.
What we love: total immersion in a preserved natural setting, between water and vineyards. Perfect for lovers of peaceful walks and authentic landscapes.

Monday, May 25th: Tasting Workshops at Mas du Notaire
To wrap up the weekend in style and enjoy the jewels of the wine appellation, head to Mas du Notaire for tasting workshops. Among the workshops offered:
- The Aromas Workshop: an olfactory game to learn how to recognize the notes of the appellation’s wines. You can choose from three difficulty levels to train your olfactory memory. A great way to get started with wine tasting!
- Wine and cheese pairings: a gourmet tasting featuring platters prepared by an artisan cheesemaker, to discover the perfect pairings between the estate’s wines and local products. We love the friendly atmosphere of the experience, all while enjoying a delicious meal.
