Gigondas sur Table: when wines and chefs invite themselves to the village square
Once a year, in July, the village of Gigondas is transformed to bring out the best in itself. Winemakers, chefs and producers come together for Gigondas sur Table to share their expertise and tell the story of a unique terroir. As night falls, visitors stroll from stand to stand, notebook or glass in hand, in a simple, warm atmosphere, taking the time to discover the region's products.

A village to savor in all its simplicity
Gigondas sur Table is the summer rendezvous that gourmets won't want to miss. You arrive in the late afternoon, the sun stretches over the village rooftops with the majestic Dentelles de Montmirail in the background, and already the aromas of the cuisine are mingling with the Provencal air. This year, four chefs, a cheesemaker and a pastry chef join forces with some forty winegrowers and merchants from the Gigondas appellation. Mouthfuls and vintages come together to delight the taste buds of connoisseurs from near and far.
On the menu: local products, reflecting their terroir, cooked by talented chefs and artisans. You can enjoy the dishes prepared as you wander from barrel to barrel in search of the perfect match.

An exchange of flavors... but not only!
Over the course of an evening, the winemakers showcase their craft and know-how. You can listen to their stories, ask as many questions as you like, and enjoy the tasting experience to the full. This rare opportunity to taste the precious nectar where it was born, face-to-face with the man or woman who made it, attracts crowds of oenophile gourmets every year.
Here, the deep reds, shimmering rosés and fresh whites of Gigondas are paired with creative dishes designed to sublimate the flavors of the terroir.
An added bonus: each edition welcomes guests of honor, such as this year's Swiss wines, to broaden our curiosity and delight!
Gigondas sur Table is an invitation to discover this Rhone Valley village, its landscapes, its producers and its chefs, in a whole new way. All the ingredients are in place for an evening just the way we like them, and why not make us want to return next year!
