Vignobles en Scène: the new annual event celebrating wine tourism in France
For those of you who haven't made any plans for October 17th, 18th and 19th, 2025, we invite you to save these dates in your diaries! These three days mark the launch of Vignobles en Scène, the new event organized by the Fédération Nationale Vignobles & Découvertes, which invites you to (re)discover French vineyards in a whole new way.
Over the course of an entire weekend, some 70 destinations in France with the “Vignobles & Découvertes” label will be offering unique events to showcase wine tourism on their territory. And, as you'd expect, the Rhône Valley is not to be outdone in offering visitors a unique opportunity to discover its vineyards during this major autumn event.

What is Vignobles en Scène exactly?
Vignobles en Scène takes place every third weekend in October in all the vineyards in France with the Vignobles & Découvertes label, and offers three days at the crossroads of culture, heritage and gastronomy in wine-growing destinations. Like the European Heritage Days, this event aims to open the doors of wine-growing regions to visitors, whether they are simply curious or enthusiasts, without necessarily being great connoisseurs. The aim is to make the know-how and riches of France's wine-growing regions, which are the pride of the country, accessible to all.
Activities planned for the weekend include:
- Atypical vineyard walks ;
- culinary workshops based on local produce and wine ;
- concerts or exhibitions in the heart of the wineries ;
- or any other opportunity to meet the winemakers!
These events are designed to gently extend the tourist season, taking time to discover the French winegrowing landscape and local stories.
The little extra: each destination creates its own program with original events that won't be available the rest of the year. So don't miss out!

Heading for the Rhône Valley: events and original experiences
In the Rhône Valley, several destinations will be actively participating in Vignobles en Scène. The Dentelles de Montmirail, the Ventoux, the Luberon, the Côtes du Rhône Gardoises, the Sud Ardèche vineyards and the Vallée du Rhône Nord are all preparing to welcome us with unique experiences. All in a natural setting that lends itself perfectly to walks with family or friends, to meet the people who bring these territories to life.
Each new activity will be part of a collection of events including :
- Gustatory: culinary and gastronomic experiences, meetings with chefs and producers...
- Immersive: sensory, sporting or even surprising activities in the heart of wineries and winegrowing landscapes;
- Creative: concerts, shows, handicraft workshops, etc. to bring art and wine together.
We'll have to wait and see what the Rhône Valley destinations have in store for us this third weekend in October!
Good to know: most of the events will be available by reservation, with practical information gradually being put online on the official event website.

Unusual banquets: the signature experience of this new event
Among Vignobles en Scène's flagship events, the unusual banquets promise a moment apart in emblematic locations in each region. These meals, created in collaboration with local chefs and producers, will showcase wines and local produce in sometimes unexpected settings: caves, châteaux, heritage estates...
In the Rhône Valley, several banquets have already been announced:
- An unusual banquet in the Grotte Chauvet 2, organized by the Vignobles Sud Ardèche destination;
- Culinary workshops in the exceptional setting of Château de Montcaud, organized by the destination Côtes du Rhône Gardoises;
- A medieval-themed banquet in the heart of the Beaumes-de-Venise appellation, organized by the destination Autour Des Dentelles de Montmirail.
- And more to come!
There will be a limited number of these banquets, which must be booked in advance, and will provide an opportunity to share a moment of local gastronomy, in an unusual setting that tells the story of the area.
What we like: A cultural outing combined with a convivial gourmet experience, like no other!
Vignobles en Scène is gearing up to become THE not-to-be-missed annual event for enjoying walks, cultural experiences and encounters in exceptional settings.
So don't forget to reserve the dates of October 17, 18 and 19, 2025, and keep an eye on the other events on the programme.
