Saturday, February 14th: truffles, wine, and gourmet treats
The Richerenches truffle market
Start the day gently at the Richerenches truffle market, the largest in Europe. Every Saturday morning from December to March, local producers offer their freshly harvested black diamonds. Amidst the truffle stalls, local produce, and friendly atmosphere, it's the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a small bag of this Provençal treasure, or indulge in a truffle omelet on the spot. A word of advice: arrive early to enjoy the lively atmosphere and the best products.
Tasting workshops for two at Domaine de Grangeneuve
Next, head to Domaine de Grangeneuve in Roussas, where two workshops have been specially designed for lovers. Choose from:
- 10:30 a.m.: Introduction to wine tasting with a fun session to learn how to recognize the aromas and specific characteristics of six of the estate's vintages from Grignan-les-Adhémar AOC, all in a friendly atmosphere.
- 4:00 p.m.: Wine and chocolate pairings with a gourmet and sensory experience, where you will discover how the flavors of chocolate enhance those of wine.
What we love: The warm welcome from the winemakers, who know how to make tasting accessible and enjoyable, even for novices.
Wine tasting and gourmet platter at Domaine de Montine
To end the day on a high note, head to Domaine de Montine in Grignan, where a platter of fine cheeses and charcuterie accompanies a tasting of the estate's wines from Grignan-les-Adhémar, Côtes du Rhône and Vinsobres AOC. A gourmet and convivial moment, ideal for continuing discussions and savoring local products.

Sunday, February 15th: heritage and landscapes
Visit to Grignan Castle
On Sunday, we'll head up high with a visit to Grignan Castle, a must-see in the region. Perched on a hilltop, it offers exceptional views of the surrounding vineyards and villages. In February, the castle offers self-guided and guided tours, as well as special events for the Year of Sévigné. A romantic setting where history and views combine for a timeless moment.
Walk in the Monts de Visan
For nature lovers, hiking in the Monts de Visan is a must. This walking trail, accessible to all, crosses landscapes of vineyards and scrubland and offers breathtaking views of the countryside surrounding the village of Visan. A moment of tranquility, where you can take the time to breathe and marvel at the beauty of the surroundings.
What we love: The diversity of the landscapes, between vineyards and hilltop villages, and the opportunity to stop at a local winery or restaurant for a gourmet break.
